Pro Camera Motion Detector

OVERVIEW

This Privacy Policy describes how Pro Camera Motion Detector (“the App”) handles your information when you use it on your Apple iPhone or iPad.

The App does not require you to create an account, does not operate a backend server that stores your personal data, and does not sell any data to any third party under any circumstances. All core features operate on your device. The only external data flow is through Google AdMob for in-app rewarded advertising and Apple’s App Store infrastructure for optional subscription purchases.

  1. DATA WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

Camera

The App uses your camera to display a live preview, capture photos and videos at your request, scan QR codes and barcodes, and perform on-device human body pose detection for motion-tracking features. Camera frames are processed in real time on your device and are immediately discarded after use. They are never stored, uploaded, or transmitted.

Body Motion Detection

The App uses Apple’s Vision framework (VNDetectHumanBodyPoseRequest) to detect the presence and movement of a human body in the camera frame. This is used solely to trigger motion alerts and animate the on-screen motion radar. All processing occurs entirely on your device using Apple’s on-device machine learning. No body pose data is stored, exported, or shared with any third party.

Face Data

The App does not collect, process, store, or transmit facial recognition data, face geometry, face templates, face scans, or any other face-related biometric information.

The App does not use face detection APIs at any time. No facial landmark mapping, face recognition, or analysis of facial features is performed. This statement applies to all current and planned uses of the App.

Microphone

Microphone access is used only when you explicitly choose to record audio. Audio may be recorded alongside video recordings or used with the App’s optional Remote Microphone feature.

Audio is saved only as part of the recording you choose to create and store on your device. The App does not record audio in the background and does not upload audio to any server.

Remote Microphone

The App includes an optional Remote Microphone feature that allows one iPhone or iPad running the App to transmit microphone audio directly to another nearby iPhone or iPad running the App.

Audio is transmitted directly between the user’s devices using Apple’s local networking technologies, including Multipeer Connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and related peer-to-peer communication technologies. Audio is never uploaded to our servers or any third party.

The transmitted audio is used solely for the active recording session initiated by the user and is stored only as part of the recording saved by the user.

Photo Library

The App saves photos and videos you capture to your photo library. The App may also read a thumbnail of your most recently captured image or video to display in gallery shortcuts and previews.

The App does not upload, analyse, or transmit any photos or videos from your photo library.

Location (Compass Heading)

The App requests “When In Use” location permission solely to access your device’s compass heading for directional overlays and compass-related camera features.

The App does not collect, store, log, or transmit your geographic coordinates, location history, or any other location data.

Device Motion

The App uses your device’s accelerometer and gyroscope to support motion-tracking, camera orientation, stabilization, and related camera features.

This data is used in real time on your device only and is not stored, exported, or transmitted.

Subscriptions

The App offers an optional auto-renewable subscription called Pro Camera Premium.

Subscription purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, process, store, or have access to your payment information.

Subscription status is used solely to determine access to premium features within the App.

  1. ADVERTISING — GOOGLE ADMOB

The App displays rewarded video advertisements provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). Watching rewarded advertisements may unlock certain advanced features within the App.

The App currently does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking.

Google AdMob therefore serves non-personalized (contextual) advertisements only. Advertisements are targeted based on general context rather than individual profiles or cross-app behavior.

When an advertisement is requested or displayed, Google AdMob may collect certain technical information including:

• Device identifiers
• IP address
• Device type
• Operating system version
• Application version
• Advertisement interaction data

This information is processed by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy:

We do not receive or store this information ourselves.

We never share camera data, audio recordings, body pose data, location information, photos, videos, or any sensor data with Google or advertisers.

The App includes Apple’s SKAdNetwork identifiers to support privacy-preserving advertisement attribution as required by Apple. This mechanism does not track individual users across applications.

  1. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer personal information to any third party for their own use.

The only third-party processing that occurs is through:

• Google AdMob (advertising)
• Apple App Store services (subscriptions and purchases)

No other analytics, crash-reporting, profiling, tracking, or marketing SDKs are intentionally included in the App.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

  1. DATA RETENTION

The App does not maintain a backend database or server. We do not retain personal data on our systems.

Camera frames and body pose data:
Processed in real time and immediately discarded.

Face data:
Not collected at any time.

Location heading:
Used in real time and not stored.

Photos and videos:
Saved only to your device by your own action. You may delete them at any time through the Photos app.

Remote microphone audio:
Used only during the active recording session and stored only if included in a recording saved by the user.

App preferences:
Stored locally on your device using iOS storage mechanisms such as UserDefaults and never transmitted to us.

Advertisement interaction data:
Retained by Google according to Google’s own retention policies.

  1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 or the minimum age required by applicable local laws.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address the matter.

  1. SECURITY

Because the App does not transmit personal data to our servers, the risk of server-side data breaches is significantly reduced.

All sensitive processing occurs exclusively on your device within Apple’s protected iOS and iPadOS environments.

Photos, videos, and recordings stored on your device may be protected by your device’s security features, including Face ID, Touch ID, passcodes, and Apple’s device encryption.

You may revoke camera, microphone, photo library, location, motion, or local network permissions at any time through:

You may delete all locally stored application data by removing the App from your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When material changes are made, the Effective Date at the top of this document will be updated.

Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
